Janis Roberta Falcy

Janis Roberta Falcy, 80 years of age, passed on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Methodist Hospital of Sacramento. She was proceeded in death by her son, David Falcy. Janis, daughter of the late Dr. Robert Corkill Quine and Irene Kempton, was born February17, 1941 in Camarillo Heights, CA. She attended public schools in California and was a graduate of New Dorp High School in Staten Island, NY. Janis married the late Laurent Falcy in 1959 and they had four children. The family moved from New Jersey to Los Angeles in 1964. Janis worked as a waitress in her early years and later moved to Sacramento in 1979 where she started a successful property management business. She enjoyed volunteering her time to help youth education and loved practicing yoga. She later met the love of her life, Denny Olson. They enjoyed skiing the great outdoors and traveling the world. Her beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of her children: Christopher Falcy of Rancho Santa Margarita, Kathryn Zils of Santa Rosa, Michael Falcy of Pollock Pines; daughters-in-law; Hope Falcy and Fina Falcy; son-in-law; Joseph Zils; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren; her older brother, Don Quine; three nephews and countless friends. The family would like to express their thanks for the wonderful care given to her at Carlton Senior Living of Sacramento and Methodist Hospital of Sacramento.
