James Roderick Linn, or as he was so proud to announce as a child, James Roderick "Christmas Bear" Linn. He was a gentle soul with a spark of humor and puzzling wit. He loved music, games, puzzles, and silly sayings like "Mr. Piddidiot, first name Stu". He was always smiling with rosy cheeks. A happy guy in all situations. As a child he enjoyed swimming and soccer and he would sit on the floor with his legs sticking out on each side watching TV. So innocent and silly. As a teenager he absorbed music and played keyboards and sang very well. He had one of those keyboard scarves like Damone from Fast Times at Richmont High. He dressed in spandex and bandanas and absolutely loved the Scorpions because he resembled their singer Klaus Meine. He enjoyed going to the Mineshaft where he was considered a staple. He lived a honest life, worked hard and loved the tile trade. He spent many years learning the tile business. He could have run his own tile company with all his knowledge. He helped set the tile for his Mothers floors. He started dating the love of his life Cristi at the turn of the century, and from that point on he had the best times of all. He talked about BBQing, music and taking their dogs to the river to run free. He stepped away from tile to become a Program Technician. He was so passionate about his job of helping callers. Everyone I have spoken to said he was always smiling. He touched so many people in his time here on earth. Everyone has a funny story to share. We have lost a wonderful Son, Brother, Uncle, Husband, Step-Father and friend. The world won't be the same without him but we have so many fun memories to share for years to come. God Bless our James Roderick "Christmas Bear" Linn.
