Irma L. Schlotz, 98, of Fair Oaks, CA, died Aug 10, 2015 at Kaiser Hospital, Roseville, CA, with family nearby. Irma was born in Sacramento, CA, June 3, 1917, to Simeon & Abbie Green - one of the founding families of Fair Oaks. She attended Fair Oaks Elementary and graduated from San Juan High School in 1935. She lived most of her life in Fair Oaks and was a charter member of Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church where she served in many capacities. Irma was happily married to George D. Schlotz for nearly fifty years and had three daughters. They were active participants in their community and church including Mariners' Group, Square Dance Club, Pinochle Club, and Trailer Club. They loved to entertain in their home and Irma often hosted Mah Jong groups. George and Irma loved to take their girls on trips including Santa Cruz and to the Green's cabin in South Lake Tahoe. Irma's grandchildren remember playing at the pool table, in the swimming pool, and in the play house - all three built by George at Irma's request. George and Irma would often take them camping at Bodega Bay. The great-grandchildren remember her always having Thrifty's ice cream in the freezer, playing games with her, and picking oranges every winter. Irma was preceded in death by her husband, George, and her sister, Betty Lazier. She is survived by her daughters, Linda & Darryl Bramlette of Jamestown, Bonnie Roberts of Fair Oaks, and Jane & Dean West of Sacramento; five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, Tammie & Phil Erhard parents of Steven of Fairfield, Julie & Bob Daigle parents of Bobby of San Jose, David & Danette West parents of Lydia, Abigail, Calvin, Lincoln, Naomi, and Julia of Sacramento, Heather Keowmee mother of Joshua and Nathan of Fair Oaks, Sarah & Duane Howard parents of Leanne, Lisa, John David, and Joseph of Nashville, TN.
