A man of many talents, Howard was a skilled tradesman, sailor, and artisan. As a custom automobile upholstery craftsman, he earned a reputation for his meticulous work, transforming vehicles with precision and care. He was also a professional photographer, capturing the world around him with an artist’s eye. His work extended beyond his trade, as in recent years he designed and built his own sailboat, an achievement that reflected his ingenuity and determination. In addition to his love for photography and craftsmanship, Howard was an avid hobbyist, building and flying remote-controlled planes and outfitting a camper van to suit his adventurous spirit.
