Henry John Heydt Jr.

Henry John Heydt, Jr. Ed.D Born on October 19th, 1930 in Lancaster Pennsylvania, and died from natural causes on August 8th, 2021 in Sacramento California at 90 years of age. Son of the late Dr. Henry John Heydt, Sr and Margaret Elizebeth Weeks. Survived by his loving wife Dorothy "Tru" McGuire-Heydt, his son John Kenneth, daughter Beverly Louise, son David Timothy, his daughter Peggy Elizabeth, and his 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by his son Peter Allen. Played trumpet with Woody Allen in the 40s. Received his Doctor in Education. Retired for the State of California, Dept of Education, Schools, Facilities and Planning, as Special Assistant to the State Board of Education. Long-time Elks Lodge member (35 years).
