Gloria May Hall (nee Larson) a long time resident of Carmichael, CA was born in Sacramento on: May 1, 1934 to Roy and Alice (nee:Burns ) Larson in, CA. She passed peacefully with family by her side on: March 19, 2018. She is survived by her 4 Sons, Mark Hall (Lisa), Russell Hall (Pam), LeRoy Hall, and Clifton Hall (Jennifer), 9 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren and her Brother’s Larry Larson & Gary Larson. She is preceded in death by her husband Theron Ray Hall, her parents Roy & Alice Larson and her Sister’s, Betty Skalisky, Bonnie Hale, Katherine Woods, Brothers, Donald Larson, Victor Larson, Burns Larson and Gilbert Larson. Gloria grew up in Sacramento and Nevada City attending Nevada City High school and graduating in 1952. She met her husband Ray at McClellan AFB and they were married in 1955 and soon thereafter started a family. Gloria worked at McClellan AFB in Sacramento, CA for many years and she retired from JC Penney in Carmichael. After retirement, she continued working in the Family Business Hall Bros. Performance with her husband Ray and all the boys. Gloria loved the outdoors and was always happy to go along on camping and hunting trips with Ray and her boys. Her strength of character and love of family was passed on to her four son’s who are a shining example of her love and thoughtfulness towards others. Gloria was close to her son’s and their families and her nieces as well, and throughout the years enjoyed many adventures with them! One of her favorite adventures was the family Ocean trip, a tradition started by her and Ray many years ago at Dad’s Camp, that was enjoyed by so many in the family as well as close family friends. Gloria was loved by so many and will be remembered for her kindness and selflessness towards other’s. A Celebration of life will be held Saturday May 19th at William B. Pond Park at the end of Arden Way, by the river from Noon to 3:00 pm.
