Georgia Lillian Mccarty

Georgia Lillian Ross-McCarty passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home on Thursday, November 10, 2016 in Sacramento, Ca. She had been battling serious health issues for some time. Georgia was born on December 10, 1936 in Muncie, Indiana to George Ross and Dallas Bowling. She was the 3rd of 10 children. She moved to Saratoga, Ca. in 1946. Georgia met her husband Kenneth McCarty in 1952, at a church in San Jose. Her high school education was put on hold to give birth to her eldest daughter Kathrene and provide a life by woring at Western Electric in San Leandro for 10 years. She later gave birth to two additional children, Ken and Jimmy. Her former husband passed in 2015 from cancer. Georgia became a member of First Gospel Assembly with her daughter in 2009 and was a faithful servant to the Lord into her passing. Georgia is survived by two of her remaining siblings; Vicki and Linda, her 3 children and 2 grandchildren. She will also be remembered by countless church family and numerous friends.
