Gemma Arciaga Pangilinan

GEMMA TEPAUREL ARCIAGA—PANGILINAN, 52, from Sacramento, CA went home to be with the Lord on June 27, 2023, one day before her 21st wedding anniversary and 5 days before her 53rd birthday. She was born on July 2, 1970 in Poblacion, City of Muntinlupa, Philippines to the late Benjamin and Helen Arciaga. She is 5th among 6 siblings (George, Grace, Gladys, Gina, Gemma+ and Gaylie).

She is survived by her husband Lyndon, daughter Daisee Amber and granddaughter Snow Winter, her siblings+spouse, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She graduated from Philippine Christian University with a BS in Business Management and Marketing. Gemma was also an active member of her churches, Evangelical Church of Muntinlupa (ECM) in the Philippines and Good Shepherd Community Church (GSCC) in Milpitas, CA. She served in the Choir, Praise and Worship Team, a member of the Board of Deacons, Sunday School and Outreach Teacher, and officer of the Christian Youth Fellowship and Christian Young Adults Organization.

Gemma, at her younger age, was into sports and became a Team Captain and awarded Most Valuable Player in Volleyball Competitions both in her community and in her school. She enjoyed many other activities throughout her life like traveling, karaoke, watching movies and cheering on her favorite team Golden State Warriors.

Gemma was a caring and loving woman whom throughout her lifetime, devoted herself to her faith in God and people around her. She was an intelligent, motivated and talented woman. She remained God-fearing and a faithful Christian.

She fought a good fight. Though she suffered much from her sickness, her faith has always carried her through. God has been good and faithful to her life. “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
