Gary Carlson

SACRAMENTO – It is with heavy hearts that the family of Gary Carlson announces his sudden passing from this life on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the age of 70. He was born in San Mateo, CA on April 19, 1948 to Ivan & Katherine Carlson. Gary grew up in El Granada, California, Reno, Nevada, and San Jose, California before he came to the Sacramento area. Survivors include his twin sister Gail Hance, his brother Ivan Carlson, and his other sister Susann Boley, along with nephews Jayson Goodrich and Jeffrey and Mark Groux, great-nephew Aaron Groux, and many friends who were blessed to know him. Gary enjoyed sharing time with family and extended family and camping with his treasured friends. His hardworking and loving nature made all those around him smile. The family wishes to thank the incredible team of doctors and nurses at Kaiser Morse in Sacramento, who are some of the most compassionate and caring individuals in the medical profession. Thank you for your respect for and care of our brother, and all of his family, during that very difficult time.
