Tanina Scimemi

Addio amorevole Tanina! Devoted wife, mother, and friend to many. Born in Italy,
she immigrated to the USA in 1948 at 17 years old. She graduated from college,
enjoyed a successful career, and Zumba’d her way through retirement. She
attended her last zumba class at 89 years old, but continued to walk daily until
the day she died. She leaves behind a loving husband, a devoted brother, a
daughter, son-in-law, three grandchildren, great-grandchild, and caring nieces
and nephew. Tanina delighted in nurturing friendships with people from various
cultural backgrounds with her signature homemade cream puffs. Her family will
carry on her passion for cooking, Italian culture, and insatiable curiosity in others.

Memories shall be shared at Sierra View Funeral Chapel in Carmichael from
7:00pm - 8:30pm 9/22/2023, and funeral services shall be held at Our Lady of
Assumption Church, 5057 Cottage Way, Carmichael at 10:00 am on 9/23/2023.
