Fred Paul Dehn was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 8, l945 to Fritz and Alwina Dehn. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Martha, and children, Henry (Teri), Heather (Mike), Hunter, Heath and two grandchildren, Justin and Christopher. Brother, Daniel Dehn and sister Dorothy Dehn(Tobin). Fred was a graduate of Curtis High School in Staten Island New York, and Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He practiced his beloved profession for 35 years, retiring in 2005. He was a Board Member of the California Chiropractic Association, a President’s Club member at Palmer College of Chiropractic as well as a Fellow of the Palmer Academy of Chiropractic. Fred was well known for his booming and distinctive laugh, which would announce his presence, and his joyous spirit. He was the life of the party with a joke and a hug for everyone. Fred experienced a rapid decline in his health over the last 6 months due to a chronic illness. He died unexpectedly when his heart stopped on October 9, 2018 at Mercy San Juan Hospital. There will be a Celebration of Life on October 27, 2018 between 2pm-6pm at 4238 Mason Lane, Sacramento, CA 95821. Because parking will be a challenge, please consider using Uber or Lyft.
