FRANCIS (FRANK) EDWARD MELLOR 8/8/1947-5/24/2016 Frank Mellor passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 24, 2016. He is survived by his Son and daughter in law, Lee and Lisa Mellor and his daughter and son in law, Ashley and Jeremy Crawford. Frank had three grandchildren whom he adored, Maddox, Sophie and Akaylia. He is also survived by two brothers and a sister, Leslie, Walter, and Joan. Frank was born in Wallasey Cheshire England on August 8th 1947 and he was the youngest of 3 boys and one sister. His parents were Leslie and Evelyn Mellor of Wallasey England. Frank lived and attended school in England. In 1977, Frank and his family immigrated to America with his brother, Wally. Once established in America he started working as a diesel mechanic and went to work at US Machinery. Eventually that lead him to owning his own business, Aggregate Systems, which consisted of designing and building conveyors for mines and road work. He became quite popular in this field on the west coast. Frank was very well known and respected in this industry working with several established companies. Frank raised his two children while prospering in the mining industry. Frank was a prominent member of the Moose and the Elks Lodge in Rancho Cordova. There he had many friends and earned the respect as the man in charge of the RV parking in addition to many other duties. He was known for his charming wit and sense if humor. He commanded attention and was ALWAYS the life of the party. He will forever be remembered and truly missed by many. REST IN PEACE FRANK, father, brother and friend.
