Flora Balajadia Horton, beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was born on April 13, 1952, and passed away unexpectedly on October 24, 2024, at the age of 72, appearing at peace in her final moments. Born in Guam, Flora is deeply missed by her husband, James Horton; her children, Heather, Brian, and John; her granddaughter, Lanisha; her great-granddaughter, Ava; and her siblings, Sister Vincent Marie, Dorothy, and Joe. The family would like to thank all for their prayers and support during this time.
After serving proudly in the U.S. Army, Flora enjoyed long careers in federal civil service and later with the City of Sacramento, where she was known for her kindness, dedication, and strength. In retirement, she found joy in cultivating her garden, her cherished hobby and a fulfilling reward after years of hard work. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to Monterey with James and their friends, to Lake Tahoe with Heather, and to San Diego to visit Brian.
She lived a life filled with family, friends, and generosity, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew and loved her.
