Emily C. Lapointe

July 26, 1925 — May 11, 2016

Emily C. LaPointe was born on July 26, 1925 in Trinchera, Colorado and God called her to heaven on May 11, 2016. She was a long time resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado but spent the last 19 years in Sacramento, California. Emily had a strong relationship with God where family would often reach out to her for prayers in their time of need. She would say to them to have faith because God is too big. Matthew 19:26 Emily was truly blessed with a large family that now totals 52, comprised of children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Emily's family meant the world to her. She was preceded in death by 4 of her lovely 7 children, Joseph Crespin, Lillian Sanchez, Anita Garcia and Teresa Elaine Crespin. She leaves to cherish her precious memory her daughters Barbara Crespin-Birt of Sacramento, California and Magdelan Medina-Jones of Vancouver, Washington; her son Frank Crespin of Sacramento, California; her son-in-law James Garcia of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and her daughter-in-law Lucy Crespin of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She enjoyed her trips to Hawaii with her daughters and made several trips back home to Colorado to visit her vast family and friends. In her leisure, she enjoyed walking, crossword puzzles, playing solitare on her computer or card games and bunco with her friends while living at Eskaton Jefferson Manor Retirement Community. Emily was loved by so many and her love has touched many lives. A celebration of her life memorial will be held later this summer in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She will be greatly missed.
