Elizabeth Peabody Senty-Martin

Elizabeth Senty Martin, 92, of Gold River, peacefully passed away on July 3, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. Elizabeth was born on November 11, 1928, to Grace Vose and John Bembow in Englewood, New Jersey. After Elizabeth graduated from George Washington High School in 1946, she pursued a degree in Physical Education at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. After college, she worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Air Force Major Research and Development Command in Maryland. In 1953, Elizabeth met Edmond Senty in Baltimore who was apracticing dentist and Rank-Lieutenant in the Air Force. Elizabeth and Edmond went on to have one child, Maribeth. After Edmond's passing, Elizabeth married Irwin Martin and resided in Arizona. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husbands, Edmond, Irwin, and brothers, Corporal William Vose Bembow and Reverend John Harriman Bembow. She is survived by her daughter, Maribeth, two grandchildren, James, and Dana and two great grandchildren, Henry and Luke. We will miss her vivacious spirit and loving nature dearly.
