Eileen Marjorie Larson, 95, of Sacramento, California passed away peacefully in her sleep of natural causes on Sunday, September 4, 2016. Eileen was born August 6, 1921 in Sawbridgeworth, England. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and sister, and husband, Arthur A. Larson. She is survived by her children; David Larson (Diana), Julie Schaplowsky, and Jennifer Jacky (Joseph), grandchildren; Christine Schaplowsky, Kyle Schaplowsky and Christian Jacky, as well as nieces and nephews in England and the United States. Eileen served as a radio operator in the Royal Air Force during The Second World War, where she met and married her husband, who was serving in the US Army Air Corps. They were married for 49 years. Eileen was a kind, gentle soul who had a positive outlook on everything in life, and whom everyone loved. As a young girl in England she loved sports and played field hockey, netball and was a good long-jumper. She loved to sew, knit and travel. Mostly, she loved volunteering her time at her church and spending time with her family and friends.
