Edward Clark Jessop

Edward "Ed" Clark Jessop born in Ogden Utah to Parents Edward "Ted" Jessop and Marianne Jessop (m. Clark) on 13 Dec 1959, passed away 13 March 2023 at age 63 in Sacramento California. His memorial will be held at St John's Lutheran Church in Sacramento (1701 L Street Sacramento CA 95811) on April 2nd at 2pm. The service will be livestreamed and the link posted that morning.

Ed spent most of his life in Livermore CA. He graduated from Granada High School and attended Chabot Junior College, now Los Positas Community College, where he met his wife, Andrea Jessop (m. Strahl) , of 42 years. Ed and Andrea met while playing Ultimate Frisbee. They Married in 1981. By the end of 1986 they had 3 children. Ed was an avid athlete frequently running long distances for marathons or just for fun. He was at home in the outdoors, backpacking and camping in his favorite places as frequently as possible. He was an amazing Grandpa to all the kids in the family, frequently earning new monikers to add his collection such as The Banker, Pop-pop, and Old Man. His loss was sudden and its depth vast. We lost a good man.

Ed is survived by his Wife Andrea Jessop, Daughters Kellie (Anthony) Fruciano , Jamie (Brandon) Olivo, Sarah (Keith) Street, Mother Marianne Jessop, and Sisters Joy Jessop, and Lori (Ken) Welchoff , Nieces Brittany (Randy) Chiles , Kenna (Evan) Burkett, and Nephew Chad Welchoff, Grandchildren Gabriel, Luca, Cora and Vincent, Grand Niece Ellie, and Grand Nephews Jackson, Maxwell, and Egan.
