Dorothy Louise Brown

Brown, ""Mitch"" Dorothy L. January 25, 1934-June 2, 2016 Mitch Brown will be deeply missed by her husband, Lt. Col (Retired) John O. Brown Jr., her sister Ellen June Williams, her daughters, Mary Michele Ehlers and Brenda Kay Garibay, her son in law, Steven Ehlers, her four grandsons and three great grandchildren. Mitch had many interest. She enjoyed gardening, floral arranging, volunteering as a Sunday school teacher, a candy striper, and at family services, in addition to being an active member of the officers' wives club. She held several jobs, her favorites being a telephone operator and a real estate agent with Jones, Brand and Hullin. Mitch appreciated and ended her career with the state of California, as a deputy commissioner II, for the department of real estate. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Sierra View Funeral Chapel, located at 6201 Fair Oaks Blvd, Carmichael, CA 95608.
