She left this world as a result of respiratory failure from complications with her recent battle with cancer. Dorinda was 54 years young. Dorinda was born in Grants Pass, Oregon on April 23, 1961. She was the first child of Robert Benny Wylder and Donna Lee Raquer. Mom was a free spirit that always focused on the positives in life, even into her battle with cancer. Her laugh and smile were highly contagious. She inspired many with her outlook and inspirations. Dorinda grew up in Oregon, and lived up and down the west coast throughout her adult life, with a brief stint in Florida. She was raised in a rural, farm environment, and always spoke of her time at home. She raised three men who learned how to live and love from her. Dorinda spend her working years helping others in the hospital as a surgical tech. She worked with delivering children into this world, as well as being by the sides of others that were leaving. As her vision faded, she moved into the music industry as an internet Disc Jockey. She partnered with a very close friend, and together they created their own station. Mom was an amazing artist. She thoroughly enjoyed painting and sculpting. Her final days were spent with family. Dorinda is survived by both of her parents; Robert Wylder and Donna Jacobs. All of her siblings; Robert Wylder, Timothy Wylder, Lindora Wylder, and Lee Higginbotham. Her three sons; Timothy Salmon, Patrick Salmon, and Kevin Salmon. Mom will forever be with her three sons.
