Dixie Lee Patterson

Dixie Lee Patterson was born to John and Leone (Gourley) Lasater in Inglewood, California on 03/06/1940, and attended Hamilton High School in Culver City. She married Ted Patterson on 10/10/1959, and they had 2 boys Scott and Todd. Most of those 58 years Dixie & Ted have lived here in Sacramento. The boys also live here. Dixie retired as a Journeyman Retail Clerk from Lucky Stores. She spent numerous years teaching new clerks the value of Excellent Customer Service. In the past 2 years Dixie survived 9 surgeries, but finally her body gave out and she died on 11/13/2017. True to her giving nature, prior to her cremation, throughSutter Hospital, she donated any of her organs that can benefit others. A Gathering of friends and a celebration of life will be held in the Carmichael Clubhouse, 5750 Grant Ave. on Saturday November, 25th at 12:00pm until 3:00pm Please Dress Casual Dixie was also Affectionally known as "Old What's Her Name."
