Diane Rose Werner 65, passedaway peacefully on February 23,2019, at her home in Carmichael.Born in Rome, New York onOctober 8, 1953, Diane was thefourth oldest of six children ofAndrew and Rose Durda.Diane was preceded in death byher parents, her brother AndrewDurda, and her adoring husbandMark D. Werner, who passed awayon March 19, 2013.Diane worked for 30 years for theState of California.She developed many lifelongloving friendships with her co-workers. Diane retired fromCalPERS May 1, 2009.Diane and Mark loved to gocamping and cruising. They wereactive members of the CarmichaelMoose Lodge. Diane and Markloved to spend time with family andfriends and their pampered dogs,Rusty and Rosie.Diane is survived by her sistersEvelyn Maio (Dominick) andAngela Sartain and brothersStanley Durda (Nora) and GuyDurda (Dorothy). She is alsosurvived by seven nephews, twonieces, and several great nephewsand nieces, and two great greatnephews all of whom she loveddearly!
