Schooley, David Len Sr. (Len) BornJanuary 26,1956, inCrooksville, Ohio; passed away December 20, 2017 in Sacramento, CA at the age of 61.Beloved husband, Father & Grandfather who will be greatly missed by his wife; Claire Schooley (Bertuccelli) his children; David Jr. (Denae), Briana, Nathaniel, and Hannah, his Granddaughter; Ariana, his parents; James (d) and Helen Schooley, his siblings and in-laws; Mike (Mary), Kelly(d), George(d), Craig(Dawn) Paul, James(Karen), Susan(d) Andrew (CJ), Lorri, Beth(Rusty), Mary (Mike), John(Frankie), Matt, Danny, Marianne, Michael, Jeanne, Paul(Dawnda), Victor, Anthony(Heather), as well as numerous additional family and friends in Ohio, Michigan and California. Len worked and travelled for his job in the Telecommunications field for 26 years until he resettled in California in 1996. He then went into HVAC trade until he was no longer able to work due to illness.Even after being diagnosed with multiple illnesses he still was able to participate in life. Len was a down to earth, caring soul who loved Nascar, Football, Baseball, camping, coaching and attending his children’s events.He loved his family and loved spending time with family and friends.He will be greatly missed. Catholic Funeral Services will be held onFriday, January 5th at 12 noon, at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church,4123 Robertson Ave, Sacramento, CA.Reception to follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to Alzheimers Association, ALS Association, UC Davis Cancer Center or to any other charitable organization in his memory.
