David Michael Lewis

David Lewis was born November 11, 1947, in the state of Missouri and grew up in Lynwood, CA. David lived in many places throughout California but settled in the greater Sacramento area in the 1980s. He was a loving husband, father, brother and to many, a godfather, uncle and friend. Working in industries including but not limited to, optometry and construction (roofing), David had the pleasure of making friends where ever he went. One of his favorite past times was fishing in local bodies of water like the Folsom and Sacramento Rivers.

David is survived by his granddaughter Mylani Lewis-Strain (age 15).

He is preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Martini Lewis and son, Johnathan David Lewis-Strain.
