Coreen Avila Seeley

Coreen Avila Seeley, age 76, passed away on Aug. 22nd at Kaiser Hospital in Roseville, CA. She was born in Pacific Grove, CA to Vera Bell & John Avila as the youngest of 6. She later met her husband, Grant Vernon Seeley, in Hayward and they were married in 1965 in Reno. Grant and Coreen travelled per Grant's Navy assignments. She had their first son, Victor Seeley, June 25th, 1973 in Virginia. She later had their second son, Adam Seeley, on March 23rd, 1979 in Tracy, and they all settled down in Fremont, CA. There in Fremont, Coreen worked for the public library until 2020, retiring due to the Pandemic. She moved in early 2023 to Roseville, CA to be close to her newest great-granddaughter. Coreen loved to travel, going to the movie theaters, reading books, doing puzzles, and hanging out with friends and family. She is survived by her husband (Grant Vernon Seeley), her eldest son (Victor Seeley), her youngest son (Adam Seeley), and her two sisters (Bernice Camuso and Judi Ellard). Family, friends, and others whose lives Coreen touched are invited to her Celebration of Life Sept. 15th 1-3:30pm at 4845 Royal Lily Ave, Roseville, CA 95747, to reminisce, support each other, and of course, just chat.
