Connie Zornes

Connie Zornes, 61 passed away peacefully on Thursday April 25, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at Mercy San Juan Hospital in Carmichael after a courageous fight against cancer. She was born on November 2, 1962 in San Jose, CA to Alvaro and Elisa Lizarraga.

She was the beloved wife of Mark Zornes whom she married on February 24, 1989 in Lake Tahoe, loving mother to Mark Zornes and Amanda Zornes, mother in law to Stephanie and Angelina and the greatest grandmother to Olivia Jade Zornes.

Connie’s memory will forever be cherished by her caring siblings: Rose (Steve) Martinez, Diana (Ralph) Cardenas, Susana (Daniel) Hassler, Irene (Dale) Mora, half sister Genovie Meza, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Connie enjoyed life's simple pleasures; watching her husband on the golf course, spending endless amounts of time with her family and granddaughter, and all of her many lunch/ dinner outings with family members and friends. She will forever be remembered for her smile that could light up a room. Connie will greatly be missed by all who loved her.
