Christine Marie Bodelson

Christine Marie Bodelson, 67, of Sacramento, CA, passed away on April 28, 2019 with her husband, son and brother-in-law at her bed. Chris was born to Eric and Karin Bodelson, both now deceased, on May 11, 1951 in Jamaica, NY. She attended the University of Rochester graduating in 1973 with a BA and returned to Rochester to earn her BSN in 1977. She is survived by her husband, Chuck Johnson, her son Brian Jaynes and daughter-in-law Pamela and her grandchildren Benjamin and Mallory as well as her brother-in-law, Bill Johnson and his family. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Chris was a lifelong chorister and registered nurse. She loved singing, reading and Swedish and Italian baking and cooking. She enjoyed traveling (especially to Europe), reading, theater and classical music concerts and dining out with friends. Her smile and good nature captivated everyone who met her and she was loved by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held Saturday, 10 am, June 1, 2019, at Sierra View Funeral Chapel, 6201 Fair Oaks Blvd, Carmichael, CA 95608.
