Chuck was born on March 5,1941 in Huntington Beach, California to Paul and Eula Ralston. The family lived in San Diego. At age 3 Chucks Dad let him turn the wheel on the siren for air attacks on the coast of California and Chuck loved telling that story. In 1951 the family moved to Sacramento, California. During the next 33 years he became a F111 fuel specialist and in the latter part of his career traveled as an investigator to aircraft crash sites. He retired and joined his wife Victoria in residential real sales in Sacramento. They worked as a team until 2018.

Chuck was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and dearly loved his family and was proud to be the patriarch. He loved a good joke and he had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed taking life in stride. He was a kind and generous hearted man who was always willing to help a friend in need. He had a passion for the sea and the mountains and spent time cruising the Sacramento River with his family in their Sea Ray. He loved sharing life with his family and friends. He never refused a good wine or an excellent meal. He enjoyed listening to music, especially contemporary jazz. He never tired of offering his two cents while listening to the political pundits.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to know and love him.

There will be a celebration of life in the Spring of 2025. Details to be announced soon.
