Charles Vernon Chance, Jr

Charles “Vern” age 64 passed away December 24th, 2024 with his wife Lori at his side.

Vern was a sports enthusiast from a young age including three little league teams coached by his dad. He was an avid golfer and sports fan of the Oakland A’s, Denver Broncos and the Sacramento Kings. He loved spontaneous and surprise trips to the ocean, foothills and anywhere to be together with his wife and pup.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and LaReva Chance, and his grandparents.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years whom he met while being competitors in a steel tip darts league. They instantly fell in love and were married within a year. He is also survived by his sister and brother in-laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and his cousins. He is also survived by an extended family of friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering in the future.
