Bonnie Butler Bullers was born in Berkeley, CA. On May 10, 1948 to the late Vernon Wesley Butler and Carolyn Harriett (Todd) Butler and passed away peacefully on February 18, 2024 at the age of 75. She was preceded in death by her one and only true love of 44 years Steven Ray Bullers as well as her brother in law William Ramsey and nephew Eddie Ramsey. She is survived by her older sister Sharon Dempsey, daughters Deanna Ramsey and her husband Mike Ramsey, Jennifer Osmon, and adopted daughter April Robinson, nephew Rick Dempsey, niece Alissa Dempsey-Menger, sister in law Diana Ramsey, 17 grandchildren Kurtis Hazeltine, Tyler Ramsey, Travis Ramsey, Michael Ramsey, Zane & Alison Osmon, Ashley Osmon, Spencer Osmon, Pierce & Jessica Osmon, Caleb Osmon, Stephanie & Jacob Ostheimeyer, William Culver, Isabelle & Nick Hanson, Serenity McEvoy and 17 great grandchildren. Bonnie attended Charis Bible College and graduated with a degree in biblical studies with a license to minister. She then went on to continue with a 2 year internship focused on worship and administration. Bonnie was a loving spouse for 44 years and took great pride in being a homemaker. She was also a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and would happily share her stories of the good ole days every chance she got with each of us. Bonnie loved to sing and would often break out into song at any given moment. She sang in a jazz group, choral society, at Solano Community College, church choir, worship team, solos, and in numerous productions. She also loved acting and was in many plays at the Mira Theatre in Vallejo, CA. She was a very active member of church at “ The Hill” for over 35 years where she taught Sunday school to the 2-3 year old’s, was involved in the youth ministry, worked in the cassette tape ministry back in the day, was a part of many Singing Christmas Tree and Singing Cross productions singing, acting, writing, and directing. Throughout the years she enjoyed many activities and hobbies such as camping, sewing, music, reading often finishing a book in 1-2 days, research of any kind, cooking and trying new recipes, studying the word of God, acting, singing, playing her autoharp, playing cards and board games, spending time with loved ones, exploring new places and trying new things and had even just bought supplies to learn to paint watercolors. Bonnie was a good listener, forgiving, compassionate, creative, loving, kind, joyful, resilient, and generous with her time, talent, resources, and wisdom from life experiences, voracious reading and research, and curious mind. Bonnie will be greatly missed… Her Celebration of Life followed by a reception will be held on: March 21, 2024 at 11:00am The Hill 210 Locust Drive Vallejo, CA. 94590
