Bobby Edward Bullock

Bobby Edward Bullock 67, departed this life at his home on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in
Sacramento, CA. He was born on November 27, 1955 in Newport News, Virginia to Ben
Howard Joyner and Elnora Stallings Bullock. He was educated in the Newport News Public
School System. He enlisted and served in the U.S. Army, after serving in the Army, Bobby
worked several jobs before getting his Cosmetology License. Later relocating to California. After
attending his mother’s funeral in December, Bobby decided it was time to come home and be
closer to his family. He has taught us “Never Put Off Tomorrow, What You Can Do Today!!!
Bobby was preceded in death by his father Ben Howard Joyner, and his mother Elnora Stalling
Bullock Clay, his sister Peggie B. Cherry, and brother William Bernard Bullock, nieces Alvina
McEachern Zambrana, and Tonya Renea Bullock Lewis, and nephew Darrius Judkins.
Left to cherish his memories his stepson Melvin “Beau” Price, Hampton, VA, his bonus
stepchildren, Mar’Keta Montgomery Pierce, Tanisha Wilson, and Lil-Nifty Wilson of
Sacramento, CA, his four sisters, Dorothea Fisher(Billy) of Atlanta, GA, Diane Bullock, Ft
Washington, MD, Gladys(Lady) Bullock of Yorktown, VA and Belinda Bullock-Young of
Hampton, VA, his brother, D’Andre Peoples (Tracy) of Newport News, VA; aunts, Mary
Johnson, Rogerline Williamson, Ann Harris, Pearline Ferguson, and Geraldine Jones of
Hampton, VA, Berta Caldwell (Chico), Wilson Salem, NC, Mary Williams (Louis), Newport
News, VA., Betty Lou Fogg, Louisburg, NC, Dorothy Tyson, of Queens Valley, NY and Mae
Belle Joyner, of Wilmington, DE, and Uncle Geobie Stallings, of Rocky Mount, NC; nieces;
Samantha Cherry, Tabitha Middleton, BJ Cherry, KC Cherry, TaNisha Balarezo(Carlo), KeDoni
Hill, Andrea “Missi” Batten, nephews, Curtis Bullock, Robert “Pooh” Judkins, Terence “TC”
Bullock(Tawshawa), and JaQuan Walker, several great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service, will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at
Macedonia Baptist Church 5500 Marshall Avenue, Newport News, VA. Professional Services
