Beverly Jean Champ was born Beverly Jean Hall to Leonard Oel Hall and Selma Pearl Kenney Hall in Medford Oregon on April 9th, 1928. She graduated from Sacramento High School in 1946. She then went to work for the state of California at the Department of Water Resources. This is where she met Max Champ in 1972. They were married in 1973 and remained married until Max passed away in August of 1996. Beverly loved the outdoors. Especially camping and fishing. The northern California coast was among her favorite places to do these things. She loved all kinds of music and dancing was definitely one of her very favorite things to do. In recent years she was known to go retirement homes and even hospitals to Ballroom dance for the patients there. It gave her great joy to entertain them and bring a smile to their faces. Beverly was also a wonderful cook, a VERY talented oil painter and she even loved to do ceramics. She had a warm nature and made you feel welcomed and right at home when visiting.
