Beverly Arnold, 86, long-time resident of Rancho Cordova and Glendale, California died on July 12, 2016 in Glendale California. Born in 1930 in Elwood Kansas and graduating from St. Joseph High School in Missouri. She moved to California as a young married woman more than 60 years ago. She started work as an Operator at Pacific Bell and went on to work 33 years in the Area Trunk Assigners Bureau of Pacific Bell/AT&T in Sacramento until her retirement. She was a beautiful woman who loved fashion, make-up, music and watching sports on TV. Her Saturday mornings were shopping at Nordstrom or Macy's and her Saturday afternoon was watching boxing, bowling or an olympic sport. She had an infectious laugh and was always up for discussion on the latest news and events. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Bertrand and Susie Chaney, Brother Wayne Chaney, Brother Larry Chaney, Sister Patricia Ayers and Sister Carol Marsh. She is survived by her Brother Tony Chaney of Orangevale, CA, Sister Joyce D'Amico of Reno, NV, Children Lisa Lawrence of Bartlesville, OK., Son Chester Arnold of Penryn, CA and Daughter Belinda Boling of Broken Arrow, OK.; 10 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. She is also survived by her Significant other of 16 years Steven Knechtel of Glendale, CA. There will be a graveside service only on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Newcastle Cemetery, 850 Taylor Rd, Newcastle, CA 95658.
