Betty B. Wieser-Ronne

Betty Wieser Ronne, 96, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2015 surrounded by her family. Born December 4, 1919 to Harvey and Dessie Bittner in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania. She was the beloved wife of Donald Edwin Wieser for 49 years which ended with his passing in 1996. This union was blessed with six children; Edwin, Dottie, Guy, Doug, Marcy and Don, Jr. Betty married again in 2003 at the age of 83 to Colonel Lowell Ronne (USAF Retired) (now deceased) and the couple traveled extensively, fulfilling a long time dream of sailing around Cape of Good Hope. Betty, a graduate of CSU, Sacramento worked until her retirement in 1975 for the Sacramento County Airport Systems. She had been an enthusiastic golfer and bridge player, a lover of the arts, an avid traveler and a lifelong numismatic. Betty very much enjoyed life and was up for any adventure. Betty will be sorely missed by her children and their families, Ed Wieser (Lynn, Evin and Sean), Dottie Banks (Bruce, Justin and Ben (Karen)) Doug Wieser (Nicole, Mariah, Keaton and JP) and Marcy Hunt (Bill and Casey (Charles)). She will also be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. A special heartfelt ""thank you"" to all the wonderful staff at Brookdale Citrus Heights that took such good care of Betty over the last few years. Services will be held at Sierra View Funeral Chapel, 6201 Fair Oaks Blvd in Carmichael at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 with an interment ceremony to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery located at 6700 21st Avenue, Sacramento.
