Betty Marie Kuebelbeck

Betty Marie Kuebelbeck, of Carmichael, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2020 at the age of 86. Betty was born January 15, 1934 in North Platte, Nebraska to the late Clyde and Gladys (Nation) Graham. She graduated from North Platte High School in 1951. Betty was well-liked by her classmates and active on the school newspaper, The Round Up. Betty met the love of her life, James L. Kuebelbeck on a blind date and they married three months later on July 31, 1954 in Seguin, Texas. Betty lived a full life as a devoted mother, homemaker, and volunteer. Among her many endeavors, she served as president of the Notre Dame High School Mothers’ Club. She organized bridge tourneys, family days, and mother-daughter teas. She also served as a board member for Vintage Music Theatre. Betty loved music, especially when her husband would play the piano and sing. It soothed her soul and brought her so much joy. Her other interests included gardening, cooking, reading, and tackling crossword puzzles. She Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years James, sisters Charlene “Chod” Graham Rowley and Harriet Graham Gibson, and brothers Robert Johnson and Richard Graham. Betty is survived by her four children Kathleen, Tony, Mary (Burke), and Daniel. She also leaves behind four grandchildren Graham, Harrison, Carson and Elijah, and many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. A celebration of Betty’s life will be planned at a later date when social distancing restrictions are lifted.
