Beth Marie Erickson

Beth Marie Erickson passed away on September 08, 2016 in Carmichael, CA. Beth was born in Valley City, North Dakota on September 10, 1925 to Gertrude (Peggy) and Lester Bublitz. She was very proud of her North Dakota heritage, especially her early childhood years in Hope, North Dakota. Beth and Peggy moved to California in the 1930's and Peggy married Jack (John) Gillis who became Beth's step-father. In 1943 at the age of 17 Beth married Edward A. Erickson. They had three children who survive her today. John (Diana) El Dorado, CA. Kristin, Wilsonville, OR. and Glenn, Carson City, NV. She is also survived by her grandchildren Keith, Kenny, Nate and Hillary. She was preceded in death by son-in-law Bob and granddaughter Erika. Beth retired from CA State employment and moved to Placerville CA in 1985. There she had many close friends and was involved with several local organizations including Master Food Preservers, Senior Advisor for El Dorado Transit and was the editor of the monthly newsletter of Lake Oaks mobile home park. Beth leaves her family with a strong legacy of working hard for what you want in life and her favorite saying remains with us today. ""Don't worry; it will all come out in the wash"". She will always be our ""North Dakota Chick"". A private Celebration of Life will be held by her family at a later date.
