She is proceeded in death by both of her parents, and her brother. Barbara graduated from Pacific High School, San Leandro in 1970, received her Associates Degree from Chabot College in 1972, and later acquired her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. In the early 1970’s, Barbara moved with her parents to El Dorado County, where she met and married her first husband, Bradley King. Barbara’s first daughter, Shandra Marie, was born on June 10, 1977. In the early 1980’s, Barbara married her second husband, John Partain. On April 21, 1984, they welcomed Barbara’s second daughter, Amanda Leigh. She was a hard-working, passionate woman, who loved flowers, angels, family vacations, the ocean and get-togethers. Most people who knew Barbara, often recall her “Sassy but Classy attitude”. Her humor always brought a smile or laugh, even in times of sadness. She reminded many to be strong, give it to God, and “let it go”! Barbara’s Celebration of Life, will be held at the Sierra View Chapel, February 11, 2018, at 2pm
