Barbara Jeanne Monahan

Barbara J. Monahan unexpectedly passed on the 31st of December, 2015. Unfortunately, Barbara encountered complications while undergoing a procedural surgery to repair a previous heart ailment. She was 78 years old at the time of her passing. She was a resident of Carmichael, California where she lived with her husband (Forrest D. Monahan). Barbara was born in Newton, Iowa on November 4th, 1937. Barbara and her husband moved to the state of California where she lived an enjoyable life surrounded by family and friends on a daily basis. She is survived by her husband, Forrest D. Monahan, of more than 61 years of marriage. Siblings; Bernice Parker (Fred), David Kittinger (Carmen), and Carmen Rous (Bill). Barbara and Forrest also have three surviving children; Daughter, Bonnie Kestler (Arnie). Sons; Patrick Monahan (Terry), and Darren Monahan (Gina). Ten Grandchildren; Rochelle (Mike Morales), Jamie (Nick Cardwell), Sara (Ross San), Katie (Lee McCormick), Stephanie, Jennifer, Shaye, Brian, Scott & Dylan. Nine Great-Grandchildren; Kayla, Marley, Jayden, Kylee, Jakob, Dillon, Jason, Jared and Tyson. Barbara will most certainly be missed by all family and friends.
