Ardyce June Bahadursingh

Surrounded by her family, Ardyce June Bahadursingh, entered her heavenly home on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the age of 79 as the result of a stroke. Ardyce was born on September 20, 1936 in Norfolk, Nebraska, the youngest of three children to Max and Martha Miller. She graduated from Immanuel School of Nursing and began her career as a registered nurse. Ardyce always took pride in choosing that profession and her path led her two daughters to follow in her footsteps and also become registered nurses. During nurse's training she met the love of her life, Rai Bahadursingh, MD. They were married in Stanton, Nebraska on June 22, 1958. Soon thereafter, they moved to Washington state where Rai began his medical career. When the opportunity came for Rai to open his medical practice in California they moved to Rio Linda for many years before moving to Carmichael and finally to Rocklin. Ardyce was a 4-H leader, active in church and over the past few years, enjoyed her book club friends in Carmichael and Senior Life Center friends in Loomis. Ardyce and Rai traveled throughout the world, loved their trips and telling of their adventures when they returned. She always had a freezer full of ice-cream, a jarful of candy and a hug for all of her 10 grandchildren when they came to visit. Her greatest love was her family. Ardyce is survived by her loving husband of 58 years and one day, Dr. Rai Bahadursingh, her four children: Tresa Jorgensen of Rocklin (Warren) and their children Roseann, Isaac and Alora; Tanna Forbes of Granite Bay (Ray) and their son Raymond; Todd (Anne) of Roseville and their children Adam (Kelsey), Aaron and Kiri; Trent (Dee Ann) of Long Beach and their children Ryan, Holly and Amy. A celebration of Ardyce's life will be held at Ascension Lutheran Church, 7607 Garden Gate Drive, Citrus Heights, CA 95621 on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 11:00.
