Antonio Santos Javier Sr

Antonio Javier, Sr, (86) of Sacramento, CA suffered organ failure and passed away on July 29th, 2023 surrounded by his family.

‍Antonio Sr, fondly known as Tony, was born to Honorio & Perfecta Javier, on August 16, 1936 in Don Galo, Philippines. He was a talented athlete who loved playing street basketball growing up, hence the love for Sacramento Kings:).

After graduating from college with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering,  Tony started working for Philippine Airlines in Manila where he met his future wife, Erlinda. They were blessed with 4 children (all boys!). Tony eventually moved to the United States in 1994 with his youngest son, Antonio Junior.

Tony was a devoted parishioner of Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in downtown Sacramento, where he went to mass every day. He was always the first to sign up for a church volunteering event or donate to any catholic fundraiser. Tony positively impacted our community, and he will be truly missed.

As per Tony’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
