Anna D. Struble

Anna Struble (nee Gingell), passed away peacefully on Saturday December 10, 2022 at the age of 96.  She was born in Secondigliano, Italy, emigrating to the United States after WWII.

She will be remembered for her laughter, sense of humor, love of good wine and pasta, and for the immense love of her family, friends, and many cats. We will miss how she greeted us (“Hi, Love”), and how she sang her favorite song, Torna a Surriento.  She loved spending time with her beautiful Red Hat Society friends, who meant the world to her.  She was an amazing woman, mother, and friend who will live on in each of us. She leaves behind many family and friends and was a well-loved member of the Sunriver Church, her Fair Oaks neighbors and, of course, her family.

Anna is survived by her daughters Rosa (Neil), Carmelina, Lorna (Ray), Anita (Jerry), Shari, and Deborah (Larry). She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews in Italy.

A memorial service is planned for February 11, 2023 at Sunriver Church in Rancho Cordova, California.
