Alyssa Shontaine Schettler

Alyssa Shontaine Schettler, 34, of Orangevale, passed away late Monday, February 9th, 2015. She was born to Elizabeth Torres on March 12, 1980, in Watsonville, California. She graduated from Watsonville High School in 1998 and studied art at Wingate University in South Carolina. Alyssa was a beautiful soul who loved her daughter unconditionally and considered her family her best friends. She spent many years in Florida and Georgia and loved small town life. Alyssa was passionate about art, football, country music and baking. Alyssa was a wonderful artist, always working on her next grand masterpiece. You could usually find her with a beautiful smile on her face and flip flops on her feet. Alyssa is survived by her daughter Ailani, her stepdaughters Selena and Eileena, her fiancé Andy Brown, her mother Elizabeth Torres, and five siblings: Jeff Jordan, Brianna Silvia, Steven Bumgarner, Erica Perkins, and Amanda Doherty. She is also survived by countless extended family and friends.
